Hammam

Turkish bath

The Turkish bath is imbued with the spirit of the East and water vapor, where 100% humidity forms fog and multi-layered air temperature: from 25 to 45 °C. Fragrant steam envelops the skin, promoting active sweating, which naturally stimulates the body. At the same time, blood circulation gets better, toxins are eliminated, and well-being and appearance improve. Unlike the Finnish sauna, the mild climate of the hammam creates suitable conditions even for children and the elderly. A characteristic feature of a Turkish bath is an energetic soap message made on a warm marble bed. The body is enveloped in a huge foamy cloud of whipped soap with natural oils, which slowly settles after the dynamic procedure.

Design and arrangement of hammams

The construction of a Turkish bath is a real art, and the interior is a precious frame for healing SPA procedures. The room is heated by warm air that circulates in the base and walls, and steam is supplied through small holes at the height of about half a meter from the floor.
A fairy-tale atmosphere is achieved by the play of light and architectural solutions, LED strips with the effect of the night sky, and an audio system.
Marble basins and bowls for washing are an integral part of the hammam. They are necessary for mixing hot and cold water, which enters the kurnas from authentic brass taps.

Roman baths

A favorite place for SPA procedures and relaxation of the Roman nobility, where emperors and patricians improved their health and held luxurious feasts, and ancient women took care of the beauty of their bodies. The Roman Thermae is a complex built with recreation areas, pools with hot and cold water, and, of course, a steam room. Identical to the hammam, the temperature in the Roman steam room does not exceed 50 °C with 100% humidity.

Even though Roman baths were built as separate luxurious palaces in ancient times, modern thermal baths retain their rich decoration and splendor.

The Thermae cleanses on a physical and mental level, rejuvenates, relieves stress, and stimulates the work of the immune system; that is why they are installed not only in expensive hotels but also in private houses.

Design and arrangement of Roman baths

A Roman steam room arrangement is like a hammam with a moderate temperature, soft and thick steam, marble seats, a table, and beds. Natural stone is used for decoration.
The main feature is rooms with two pools: cold and hot water, as well as showers, rooms for SPA procedures, massage, and relaxation. The interior is decorated in Roman style: marble and travertine decoration, mosaic panels and frescoes with gilding, Doric columns, drinking fountains, and statues in openwork niches.
A Thermae for a private house can include a steam room, a swimming pool with a counterflow and hydro massage system, and a technical room for equipment.
