Types of wood and colors of Ravioli decking

For the production of Ravaioli decking, an array of exotic wood species is used, which are suitable for operation in conditions of temperature fluctuations. Teak, Merbau, Jarrah, garapia, bamboo, massaranduba, angelim, sequoia, etc. – wood resistant to UV radiation, naturally durable, and moisture resistant. With this flooring, unique terrace projects are created, aqua zones at swimming pools and piers, gardens and patios, roof terraces, stairs, and facades of private and commercial buildings around the world are lined, which are located in different climatic conditions. Boards have different lengths from 0,90 to 4,5 m and a width from 9 to 15 cm, depending on the type of wood and with different types of fastening.

Types of wood

Rhinowood

is Ravaioli’s patented natural wood decking – a new generation product. A one-of-a-kind board that does not need to be oiled or varnished. Maintenance is reduced to washing with water under pressure, which changes the board’s color from silver to rich amber. It has a picturesque structure of fibers and a chaotically corrugated surface. Due to its incredible strength, weather resistance, and luxurious appearance, this board is trendy in modern design and architecture, as well as in the construction and decoration of yachts, births, terrace systems, and facades.

Heat-treated ash

It is a very durable and stable material, inert to temperature changes. It is an ideal board for interior and exterior decoration of terraces and facades of buildings. It undergoes steam treatment at about 200 ºC. It has a unique texture of beautiful shades without knots. Perfect for finishing terraces and facades of houses.

Heat-treated bamboo

It is an excellent board for terrace systems, made of pressed bamboo lamellas. The Ravaioli board is highly wear-resistant and ideal for public areas thanks to the special heat treatment. It has a grooved and smooth side, which is very practical.

Garapa (Brazilian oak)

This is a wood for terraces that is surprisingly resistant to mechanical damage but, at the same time, easy to process. The garapa deck retains its original appearance and beauty for years. The peculiarity of the garapa board is that a noble silver patina appears on its surface over time, which Europeans love so much.

Iroko (African Teak)

An elegant and practical decking board in amber shades. Resistant to rot, moisture, and fungi, it is even used in shipbuilding, furniture making, and musical instrument manufacturing. It is ideal for poolside areas, park zones, veranda decoration, rooftop terraces, and building facades.

Asian Teak

Angelim

Plantation Teak

Wood with a unique color palette and grain structure that creates exquisite ring patterns. It is resistant to temperature fluctuations, UV rays, and harsh environments. Ideal for use in poolside areas, docks, and other open spaces. It does not swell or crack, maintaining its original appearance for a long time.

Massaranduba

A very aesthetic and respectable decking board in rich brown-red shades. Due to its high silica content, Massaranduba decking is incredibly resistant to biodegradation, making it suitable even for harsh environments. It is also resistant to rot, insects, and weather conditions. Its lifespan is 30-40 years.

Ipe/Aipe (Brazilian Walnut)

A high-density, moisture-resistant decking board for terraces. Ipe is a durable material (with a lifespan of over 25 years) used in bridge construction, railroad tracks, and even musical instruments. Due to the tannins contained in the wood, the board has bactericidal properties, protecting the terrace from rot and insect pests.

Our specialists lay decking in compliance with all technological standards on a concrete base, metal structure, or an operational roof with a pre-planned drainage system, waterproofing, and natural ventilation. In addition to excellent quality, the Ravaioli board can be laid classically on special joists or adjustable supports, using a quick fastening system with Easy Click clips or ready-made modules.

A modular system with an exquisite geometric pattern for connoisseurs of individual solutions. Developed and patented by the Ravaioli factory, it is delivered in ready-made modules. It is quickly installed and easily attached by internal connections.

Innovative and patented, the Easy Click System ensures perfect connection and makes it easy to lay deck boards with anti-corrosion clips without using screws. Clack! And the terrace is ready.

The traditional method of fastening the board on wooden joists with the help of anti-corrosion self-tapping screws installed from the front side into pre-prepared holes.
